Printing in platinum
Mitre Peak, Fiordland, NZ
Using the latest camera technology from the dawn of the 21st century, then at home in a dimly lit room I make these these prints using the platinum and palladium printing process of the late 19th century.
The process is fickle, frustrating and yet seductive. When everything comes together the print has a quiet and subtle beauty. Results are never guaranteed and serendipity is always close by, making for a truly hand made and unique print.
